Step by step procedure:

1. Using water to clean stainless steel
For stainless steel appliances and surfaces that aren’t very dirty, begin by using a spray bottle to spray them with tap water. Next, take your microfiber cloth and work your way from the top to the bottom, working in an S Pattern. Always make sure to wipe with the grain of the steel so that you don’t scratch it. Next, flip your cloth over and give the stainless steel surface a final dry buff. This will give it a consistent sheen.

2. Using vinegar to clean stainless steel
Vinegar comes in when you need extra cleaning power to clean stainless steel. Mix one part water with one part vinegar solution in the spray bottle. Next, spray the stainless steel appliances and surfaces, and wipe down with a micro fiber cloth using an S pattern again and again working with the grain of steel. Give it a final polish with a micro fiber cloth for the sheen.

3. Using dish soap to clean stainless steel
If your stainless steel surfaces are really dirty and grimy, then may want to consider using some dish soap. Spray a mixture of water and a few squirts of dish soap onto the stainless steel surfaces and work from top to bottom using a microfiber cloth. Once again buff with clean micro fiber cloth.

4. Shine and clean stainless steel
As part of the process to clean stainless steel, you may also want to shine it with something that provides a more glossy look than buffing with a micro fiber cloth. For this, we recommend rubbing alcohol. If you don’t have rubbing alcohol, any cheap spirit or vodka will do. Alcohol works wonders on stainless steel surfaces because it dries almost instantly and leaves a streak-free finish. It also disinfects the surface. Mix one part of alcohol and one part of water in a spray bottle. Follow the process of wiping and buffing as outlined in the earlier two procedures above. It is recommended to wear shades or glasses to protect your eyes from the alcohol droplets that sting.
